Who Am I?
Inspired by color, line, form, and concept. I continue to paint to address the relevant issues in the world of diversity, culture, environment, human sexuality, and man’s inhumanity to all forms of life that surround us.
My process is intuitive both perceptually and conceptually. Color is usually foremost, followed by form. The process is also emotional as I ponder how to nudge humans to be more humanistic.
Do I quiet the mind or offer possibilities to live’s paradoxical complexities?
Increasingly I’m adding a quieter, more simplistic vision represented by color fields. These works are meant to be both emotional and have a strong visual presence.
I make art to please me and communicate with you.
I want to inspire you to become more aware, open, compassionate, and open to productive change. Paradigms must be altered. Selling art is not the main goal for me! Showing it and impacting the human race.
